This piece was created for a scene in the short film Elsa’s Child. A pure-hearted child perceives “Elsa” as the character from Frozen, but in reality, it refers to LH (a term used for residents of public housing), which angers the child’s older sister. Faced with adults who also perpetuate discrimination, the children realize they must endure the situation. The music delicately conveys the child’s excitement, the sister’s anger, and their disappointment, with the main theme crafted to sound both subtle and distinct, supporting the emotional complexity of the scene.
